Flumetralin Duo
A newly TRB passed suckeride trialed is Flumetralin Duo which is an emulsifiable concentrate locally systemic and contact growth regulator consisting of 13,5% Flumetralin and 30% N’decanol. Two applications were applied, the first application using a 5 cup per plant (75 lts of mixture per hectare) ¾ of the way up the plant just before topping and another 5 cup over the top on completion of topping. The suckers initially after application showed burn in the heart and distortion in the small leaves. After a few weeks most of the distorted suckers had been burnt out completely. Trials have been conducted on a commercial farm in Banket.
